Brownsville Area School District is seeking applicants
for SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS and SUBSTITUTE CAFETERIA staff.
Great working conditions, no weekends!
For cafeteria subs, hours vary but are typically 3 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
For custodian subs, hours vary but are typically 8 hour shifts between the hours of 2:00 p.m.
and 10:00 p.m.
PAY RATE is $14.00 per hour.


Reminder that Monday June 3, 2024 is turnaround day! Students will arrive, gather their belongings and return to their bus to go home.

Due to a safety concern the Brownsville Area School District will be on a remote learning day May 1, 2024.

Gateway students Gabriella Gudac and John Moore participated in the Fayette County Young Entrepreneurs Showcase this weekend! John sold books that he wrote and Gabriella sold handmade pottery, jewelry, and paintings.




The BAHS SIA Team earned another gold banner at the PA SIA Public Pitch Day!

This was a record year for Brownsville School District student participation at PJAS and for the number of first place awards who will advance to the state competition in May.

The BAHS SIA TEAM was recently featured in the Herald Standard for their Falcon Friends Mentoring program, weekend Snack Packs program, and their "Falcon's Nest" food, hygiene, and clothing pantry.



The BAMS "What's So Cool About Manufacturing" Team toured their partner business- Hranec Corporation today.










Brownsville had the honor of hosting the Mansfield University Orchestra and Concert band Ensembles as a part of their annual tour! Students got to hear top level musicians, and ask a number of questions. Mansfield University will travel to London for the New Years parade this December- and we're honored to have heard them first! Thank you to all who made this possible!
