Sixth grade students in Computer Applications are presenting their Animated Poem Google Slide Shows to their peers in class this week. Kash and Evan were the first students to present their work. They each did an amazing job!
Sixth graders in Ms. Jackson's Block Code course have been working with Story Maker®, which turns students’ writing into animated stories. Along the way, we are learning real-world applications for writing, collaboration, creativity, compromise and teamwork.

The boys middle school basketball team visited the Republic Volunteer Fire Department where they learned about volunteer fire service and its importance to the community.
The BAMS Fluid Power Challenge Team traveled to Penn State Fayette Campus to learn about Hydraulics, pneumatics and the basics of the engineering process as part of the Williams Fluid Power Challenge competition.

Attention Parents:
Any 7th or 8th grade boy interested in playing middle school basketball can sign up in the middle school office. There is conditioning/open gym on Monday October 16 4:00-6:00 in HS gym. If your child has played a sport in fall season, they will only need to complete and turn in a section 8 recertification form. If basketball is their first sport, they will need to complete and turn in physical. All physicals/section 8 forms are due on Tuesday October 17
Practice Schedule: Monday October 16, 4-6 HS Gym open gym
Tuesday October 17- Thursday October 19 6:30-8pm Elementary gym
Monday October 23 to Thursday October 26 6:30-8 Elementary Gym
Starting on Monday, October 30th practice will be after school at 2:30 in HS gym
