BAMS A-TSI Plan

Middle School Program of Studies

Brownsville Area Middle School

The Brownsville Area Middle School (BAMS) received the designation of a school in need of Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (A-TSI).

This means that BAMS students in the following subgroups performed at the bottom 5% of CSI schools in the Commonwealth for academic achievement, academic growth, and attendance:

  • Students with Disabilities

  • Students who are Economically Disadvantaged

  • Students who comprise the White subgroup

In order to satisfy the requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, all schools with the A-TSI designation must develop and implement an improvement plan to address the needs of students in these subgroups.  The plan must be made available for public inspection and comment for a 28-day period prior to approval by the Board of Education.

Please click the button below to access and review a copy of the BAMS A-TSI plan.  Submit any comments to Principal Clemmer at sclemmer@basd.org by June 20, 2019.  Thank you for your attention.
