Important Information About Remote Learning Days
Dear BAES Families,
As we enter the winter season, I want to ensure all families understand what to expect if the district calls a Remote Learning Day. Please review the information below so you are prepared ahead of time.
Remote Learning Expectations for Students
Students are expected to log into Zoom at the appropriate times following their teacher’s schedule.
Daily schedules can be found on Canvas.
BAES will operate on a two-hour delay schedule on all Remote Learning Days.
Students should begin logging onto their devices at 10:55 AM.
If you have any questions or concerns during the day, please email your child’s teacher or have your child log onto Zoom for assistance.

Two Types of Remote Learning Days Category I – Inclement / Hazardous Weather
Students complete assignments online and attend scheduled Zoom sessions.
Category II – Frigid Temperatures / Miscellaneous
Students complete assignments online and attend scheduled Zoom sessions.
Attendance
To receive attendance credit for a Remote Learning Day, students must:
Attend scheduled Zoom sessions.
Complete the online work assigned by their teacher.
